New chef at the helm as Good Brothers re-launch their kitchen offering

Former Head Chef of Vinoteca Marylebone in London, Lloyd Morse, joins the team at Good Brothers to re-launch the kitchen and take it in a fresh direction.

Good Brothers (Rory and Graeme Sutherland) are excited to announce that as of the 22nd of November, Lloyd Morse, the former Head Chef of renowned wine bar group Vinoteca in London, will be taking over the kitchen helm at Good Brothers on Dean Street in Stockbridge, Edinburgh.

Lloyd’s cooking is inspired by classic European cookery; trattorias, bistros, country cuisine, with a focus on pasta, butchery, pastries, and charcuterie. Working with what’s in season and available locally, he produces delicious and hearty dishes.

Originally from the mountains outside Sydney, Lloyd has spent the last nine years in London cooking at Magdalen, Primeur and The River Cafe. He helped open Spring as sous chef with Michelin starred Chef Skye Gyngell. Most recently, Lloyd was Head Chef at Vinoteca Marylebone for two and a half years.

This appointment marks a move away from the small plate menu that Good Brothers originally championed and allows Lloyd to bring his distinctly European “home comfort” food to Stockbridge five nights a week (Tuesday to Saturday). Good Brothers will continue working closely with local suppliers to source seasonal and local produce that showcases the best that Scotland has to offer.

“We want to provide an appealing and accessible food offering to accompany the quality wines and service that we pride ourselves on” says Graeme Sutherland.

Keep an eye on the website and social media for continually evolving menus.
